Information we may process

  • Technical and usage information: hosting, security, and delivery providers may process IP addresses, device and browser information, request logs, cookie identifiers, and similar technical data needed to operate and protect the website.
  • Communications: if you email us, we receive the information in your message and the contact details you provide.
  • Third-party link activity: if affiliate links are introduced, the relevant merchant or affiliate network may process click or referral information under its own privacy policy.

No user accounts, public comments, public contact form, or newsletter signup is intentionally enabled for the initial launch. If that changes, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated first.

Why we process information

We process information as needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website; respond to enquiries and privacy requests; maintain editorial records; detect misuse; comply with legal obligations; and establish or defend legal claims. Where consent is legally required, we will request it.

Service providers and international processing

Tool Field Test currently relies on WordPress.com/Automattic for website hosting, Cloudflare for domain, DNS, security, and email routing, and Google for the destination email inbox. These providers may process information in countries outside Jamaica under their own terms and privacy safeguards. Links to AI tools and other third-party websites lead to services that control their own data practices.

Cookies

WordPress.com and Cloudflare may use cookies or similar technologies for essential operation, security, preferences, and platform-level measurement. No additional advertising or third-party analytics is intentionally enabled for this soft launch. We will review any non-essential technology before enabling it and use consent controls where legally required.

Sharing and sale

We may share information with service providers acting for us, professional advisers, authorities where legally required, or parties involved in a legitimate business reorganisation. We do not sell personal information.

Retention

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including security, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of record and applicable requirements.

Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or objection to processing of your personal information. You may also have the right to complain to an appropriate data-protection authority. Send requests to privacy@toolfieldtest.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Children

The website is intended for a general adult business audience and is not directed to children. Please do not submit personal information about a child.

Changes

We may update this policy when the website, service providers, or legal requirements change. The current version and its update date will be posted here.
